Pastor Patrick Hoban and the whole congregation would like to welcome you to Church in the Word. We are an exciting and dynamic church located in Elgin in the northwestern suburbs of Chicagoland. We are a Spirit-Filled church. When we say Spirit-Filled we refer to the operation of the Holy Spirit in the lives of Christians just as He did in Bible days. We are also a Word-church. When we say Word-church we mean a church that both teaches and is founded upon the Word of God, the Bible.
