Current Small Groups

Believing God Women’s Bible Study – Annemarie McGuire uses Beth Moore’s “Believing God” Bible study  to study the topic of faith in God and what it means to really believe God.  There is a $15 fee for the workbook and you must register by January 22nd.  Meets Tuesdays at 9am at the McGuire home in Algonquin February – April.

Elgin Home Group - Join Vic & Kathie Whitney at their home in Elgin Tuesdays at 7:00pm as you read the Bible as a group and help each other understand what the Living Word of God is saying.  Learn how to apply the Bible to your everyday life.

Journey Through Acts – a chapter-by-chapter look at the book of Acts to see how God used individuals to establish His church in the earth and how it can apply to our lives and our church today.  Led by Pastor Scott Wednesdays at 7:30pm at the church.

The Law Firm – Based on Psalm 37:30-31 and Ecclesiastes 10:10, men learn to refine their lives by God’s laws and sharpen each other to become wiser.  The Law Firm meets every Thursday at 7:00pm at the LaGray home in South Elgin.  Led by Joe LaGray.

Marriage Class – God designed marriage to be a living expression of His Covenant with the church.  Shaun & Annemarie McGuire teach the principles in God’s Word that allow you to build the kind of successful marriage that will put this Convenant on display.  This 10-week class meets Tuesdays at 7pm at the church beginning January 31st.

Marriage – (For previous attenders of the Marriage Class.)  This group provides an environment for married couples to come together with the common purpose of making their marriages and families stronger.  Meets every other Sunday at 7pm at the McGuire’s home in Algonquin beginning January 15th.

Men’s Breakfast – Men meet for breakfast and fellowship on the 3rd Saturday of each month at the Golden Corral in Algonquin starting at 8:30am.  Led by Sam Alexander.

[Redefined] Student Ministry – Training a new kind of revolutionary through art, service and devotion. Redefined is open to all jr. high and sr. high students and meets each Friday night at 6:30pm. You can visit them on the web at imredefined.net

Tools for Transformation – Bette Fetter leads an 8-week class for Christians who want to clear away the bumps and bruises of life.  Gain an understanding about the hidden barriers that limit you and  use these transformational tools to break bondages – even ones you may not know you have.  Mondays at 7pm at the church from January 16th – March 5th.

Women’s Fellowship – Women meet for fellowship, prayer, and a time of encouragement on the 2nd Saturday of each month from 9-10am at the Panera on Randall Rd at I90.  Led by Geri Alexander.

Young Adult Fellowship – A place for those 18 – 30 something to connect with each other and grow in their faith through monthly times of worship, Bible Study, and fellowship.  Meets one Saturday or Sunday evening each month at various locations.  Led by Scott Neubauer.
